ACOPES AI / TagFlow Chrome Extension
Last updated: May 31, 2026
1. Who We Are
ACOPES AI provides TagFlow, a Chrome extension and SaaS tool that helps Etsy sellers analyze listing tags, tag competition, keyword opportunities, and SEO signals directly on Etsy pages. TagFlow is operated by ACOPES AI and is accessible at acopesai.com.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Account information — email address when users sign up or log in to TagFlow.
- Authentication and session data — SaaS login tokens stored locally in Chrome storage on your device.
- Etsy listing content — product titles, publicly visible listing tags, and publicly available listing page data needed to perform tag competition analysis.
- Usage and credit information — daily analysis count, plan status (Free, Premium, or Power Seller), and remaining daily credits.
We do not collect health information, financial information, government ID numbers, private messages, precise location, or browsing history unrelated to Etsy listing analysis.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect only to:
- Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
- Provide TagFlow tag competition analysis on Etsy listings.
- Display tag competition scores, keyword opportunities, and SEO signals.
- Manage free and premium plan daily limits.
- Improve service reliability and prevent abuse.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to TagFlow's core functionality.
4. Chrome Extension Permissions
TagFlow requests the following Chrome extension permissions, each justified by a specific function:
- storage — used to store login status, authentication token, extension preferences, and analysis state locally on your device using
chrome.storage.local. No data is synced to external servers without your interaction. - activeTab — allows TagFlow to run analysis on the active Etsy tab when you click the TagFlow Analiz button. The extension only reads content on tabs where you explicitly trigger analysis.
- Host permission for etsy.com (
https://www.etsy.com/*) — allows the content script to read publicly visible Etsy listing content (product title, tags, competitor titles on the same search page) for tag and SEO analysis. No Etsy account credentials or private data are accessed. - Host permission for ACOPES AI backend (
https://acopes-ai-production.up.railway.app/*) — allows the extension to send analysis requests to the TagFlow backend API and receive AI-powered tag competition scores and insights.
5. Remote Code
TagFlow does not execute remote code. All extension scripts (background.js, content.js, popup.js, tagflow_opts.js) are bundled inside the Chrome extension package and are not loaded from any external URL at runtime.
The extension only communicates with the ACOPES AI backend API over HTTPS to submit analysis prompts and receive results. No executable code is downloaded or evaluated remotely.
6. Data Sharing
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not transfer user data to third parties for advertising purposes.
- We do not use user data for purposes unrelated to TagFlow's single purpose of Etsy tag analysis.
- We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, database) solely as necessary to operate the service. These providers process data only on our behalf.
Analysis prompts may be processed using the Anthropic Claude API to generate tag competition scores. Only listing tag data and titles are included in these requests. No personal account data is sent to Anthropic.
7. Data Storage and Security
- Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using
chrome.storage.local. They are not shared between devices or stored in browser sync. - All requests to the ACOPES AI backend are sent over HTTPS.
- Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 and never stored in plain text.
- Users can log out at any time to remove local session data. Logout clears the authentication token from Chrome storage immediately.
8. User Control
You remain in full control of your data:
- Stop using TagFlow at any time — simply do not click the TagFlow Analiz button.
- Uninstall the extension from Chrome at any time (chrome://extensions). Uninstalling removes all locally stored data.
- Log out of your account from the extension options page to immediately clear your local authentication token.
- Contact us to request account deletion or removal of any data we hold about you.
9. Children's Privacy
TagFlow is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of TagFlow after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
